Is Caravel available in French (or other languages)?
Apart from the Caravel website which is available in English and French, unfortunately, the Caravel tool (application) is only available in English. The development of a multi-lingual Caravel application represents a major investment that we have not yet decided to prioritise.
Do you really allow unlimited users (viewers) in all plans?
Yep. At Caravel, we believe that user-centered design is only achieved when everyone involved in your project is invested in delivering great user experiences. That’s why we don’t think it’s right to leave anyone out. Once you’re subscribed to a plan, you’re free to invite as many teammates or partners to access your projects.
What’s the difference between Viewers and Editors?
Viewers are users who can access projects, participate in page discussions, and even change project status (the latter, if you’re on Team plan). They’re unlimited, even for a Free plan.
Editors have all Viewer rights plus they can actively contribute with page content (i.e. edit text, images, annotations, integrations, etc). By default, every account Admin is an editor, but additional Editors must be paid for.
Both Editors and Viewers can be set on a project-by-project basis.
Who can see our documents and files? Will you read it?
Only the users invited to your project can access its content. We took great measures to ensure your files are secure.
Will Caravel work with my computer?
Caravel runs on web browsers, be it on a Mac or PC. To guarantee an enjoyable experience, we recommend an up-to-date, modern browser, such as Chrome 35 and higher, Safari 7 and higher, Firefox 30 and higher, or Internet Explorer 11 and higher.
